Today I thought I'd go for a pattern theme
-- always one of my favourites. For
an excellent example of a pattern shot check
out this picture from Fredshead.org. The above were all taken in Kyoto.

I had the hardest time today trying to find
an English-version external CD burner in
Tokyo's electronics district, Akihabara.
If anybody out there has one that they'd
like to set me up with then please let me
know.
I thought you might be getting a bit bored
with the postcardesque temple pictures that
I've posted recently, so I decided to show
you some pictures of the people that we saw
visiting the temples and shrines. All
of these places are quite touristy, so really,
a big part of the experience is mingling
with other tourists. I think I was
the only person there actually taking pictures
of people.

All right, back in the big city --
Tokyo.
Finally got to check my hunkabutta
email,
and a big thanks to all of you out
there
for the kind words and the useful criticism.
Kyoto was too much for words -- definately worth
a trip by anyone interested in Japan. I'll
probably continue posting Kyoto pictures
for the next little while.
For all of you out there in Internet land
who are interested in Photoblogs, check out
Brooklyn kid's photo-hunt contest, which
should be up and running anytime soon.
You
can bet I'll be in on it.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to post
yesterday because I was so busy checking
out the incredible sites around Kyoto. Just
two more days left here before we head back
to Tokyo. Above are a few shots that I took
yesterday.
